School will be open on Friday 18th December
Dear parents and carers
Further to the government announcement regarding the option of school using Friday 18th December as a training day, I would like to reassure you that Guiseley Primary School will be open as normal.
Whilst I appreciate the sentiment behind the offer, we are acutely aware of the impact this would have on working parents needing to find childcare at short notice. Schools were only notified of this option as it was announced in the media and our remaining training days are already allocated for specific reasons.
