Vacancies

We are looking to recruit additional support staff to join our popular and friendly school.  The roles are initially temporary for one year starting in September 2021, although there may be potential in the future for the roles to become permanent.  The vacancies are:

 

2 x Teaching Assistants

Role 1 - working 8:45am-3:15pm Monday to Friday in year 2

Role 2 - working 8:45am-3:15pm Monday to Friday in year 3

 

 

The Teaching Assistant roles involve working under the guidance of the class teacher to provide general assistance to all children in the class.  It would be desirable if the successful candidates held a childcare related NVQ Level 3 qualification.   Further details  can be found in the Application Pack:

2 x SEN Teaching Assistants

Role 1 - working 8:45am-3:15pm Monday to Friday in nursery supporting on a one-to-one basis.  Additional hours may be available in the nursery before and after school provision.

Role 2 - working 8:45am-3:15pm Monday to Friday in year 1 supporting on a one-to-one basis and across the year group. 

 

The SEN Teaching Assistants will work under the guidance of the SENCo and class teacher to support children with additional needs.  It would be desirable if the successful candidates held a childcare related NVQ Level 3 qualification and had experience of working in challenging situations and with children who have complex needs.   Further details can be found in the Application Pack:

1 x Early Years Practitioner - working 8:45am-3:30pm Monday to Friday in nursery.  Additional hours may be available in the nursery before and after school provision.

 

The Early Years Practitioner will work with children aged 2 – 4 under the guidance of the class teacher.  It would be desirable if the successful candidate held a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification and be familiar with the EYFS Framework.  Further details can be found in the Application Pack:

All roles will involve working during the lunchtime period.

  • Demonstrate recent experience of working or volunteering in primary schools.
